NATIONAL YOUTH DAY 12 JANUARY: SWAMI VIVEKANAND JI MESSAGE , SLOGAN AND LESSON

An Indian Hindu monk and well-known spiritual Guru Swami Vivekananda. Along with being a superb orator and thinker, he was also a deeply spiritual person. Swami Vivekananda's birthday is celebrated on the January 12 every year in India, especially in the state of West Bengal. The day is observed as the National Youth Day following the Government of India's declaration of the same in the year 1984.

Swami Vivekananda participated at the Parliament of Religions held in Chicago (USA) on 11th September 1893 and raised the prestige of India and Hinduism very high.



6 Lessons by Swami Vivekananda

1. You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.

2. Arise! Awake! and stop not until the goal is reached.

3. You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.

4.  In a conflict between the heart and the brain, follow your heart.

5.  Do one thing at a Time, and while doing it put your whole Soul into it to the exclusion of all else.

6. Comfort is no test of truth. Truth is often far from being comfortable.
